THE LUMINEERS, la band di base a Berlino annuncia i tour in Europa e Nord America
I musicisti impegnati in lunghi tour sanno bene come funziona: fare i bagagli, salutare i propri cari, lasciare tutti i comfort della propria casa per scomodi bus o solitarie camere d'albergo, spesso per diversi mesi.
Questa è la realtà dei fatti per i MIGHTY OAKS ed è diventata ancora più dura da affrontare da quando tutti i membri del trio con base a Berlino sono diventati padri.
"Playing live is definitely something we thrive on as a band. The energy of a live show, the immediate feedback from the crowd: those things made us the band that we are today, and are the reason why we play music“, afferma il cantante Ian Hooper. “But leaving the family isn't easy for anyone, especially when you mix in different time zones and crazy schedules. I met my wife right before the band found success. Ever since she's known me, she's known me as a touring musician. No matter how many times I've left to go on tour, it's always like the first time for her, and it never gets easier for her to watch me walk out the door.”
“Forget Tomorrow” è una canzone che Hooper ha scritto il giorno prima di partire per un tour, un'esortazione a vivere il presente apprezzando ogni singolo momento con chi hai vicino, senza preoccuparsi di ciò che è inevitabile.
E l'inevitabile può essere indiscutibilmente meraviglioso:
per i MIGHTY OAKS e i loro fan l'attesa è finalmente finita. Dopo la pubblicazione del loro ultimo EP “Driftwood Seat” e dopo aver recentemente aperto il tour europeo dei THE LUMINEERS annunciano l'uscita del nuovo album ALL THINGS GO, che sarà pubblicato il 7 febbraio 2020 via BMG - anticipato a ottobre dalla title track, guarda il video
Il nuovo disco è accompagnato da un lungo tour che toccherà Europa e Nord America:
“We're very excited for next year's shows after having been in the studio recording the new album. Writing music, recording new songs, and then heading out on tour to bring them to our fans is the natural flow of our band.”
